Here’s Just a Taste of This Episode’s Talking Points

Getting out of Alignment for Change

For Lauren to get out of alignment, she instead makes herself happy rather than making other people happy. As a working mom with young children, she realizes that self-care is the last thing on the priority list. And at the end of the day when you always focus on others, it's hard to try to refill your own tank while you're running on empty.

Lauren learned that the reverse is what should be true. You have to shift your mindset to allow more and more demands of your time by other people to take the driver's seat of your life. And if you are not consciously aware and making an effort not to do that, it is going to happen.

The Shift into the Positive Voice

The thing that Lauren did to consciously shift into that positive self-talk was becoming aware of that negative voice and recognizing that she isn't the person that voice used to describe. And to maintain a positive state, she constantly fills her mind with uplifting thoughts.
